What’s with all these all-ages venues popping up in ’09? Write off a scene as dead and, hey, dumbass, the scene delivers more all-ages options than a … OK, I’m not gonna go there. Anyway, consider the latest spot: Naked Lounge’s imaginatively titled Naked Lounge Live, which is basically a glorified singer-songwriter haven—but oh, how glorious it is. A slick hardwood floor, a decent little sound system, beer on tap and by the bottle, ample seating, good acoustics, and within biking distance from anywhere in town. All they need now is a Rephlex label IDM night, a ganja den and Maredsous on tap (I won’t push my luck).
