Issue: August 29, 2013

Hi everybody,
That Reno Train Trench is the gift that just keeps giving. We figured since half the people who conspired to jam it down our throats will be running for mayor next year as fiscally responsible people, we'd have our news editor, Dennis Myers, take a look at the most recent effort of the City Council to kick the debt can down the road in order to get you to pay more interest, more taxes and more attention. There's also a rail car full of other good stuff to read in this week's edition. As always, feel free to click the links below, but don't forget to pick up a dead-tree version for exclusive cartoons, columns and paper cuts. Thanks again for reading us. If not for you, we'd get canned.
Love,
D. Brian Burghart
