Issue: July 25, 2013

Hi everybody,
"High School." What sort of memories do those two little words
conjure up? Good times? Bad times? Mediocre times? Hazy times? Boring
times? Crazy times?
In this week's feature story, a few of us RN&R editorial types look
back an our high school days. And because we're all different ages,
those experiences represent different eras, from the '60s straight
through to the new millennium.
Also in the week's issue, you'll find one of our Family Guides, which
come out a few times a year. This one focuses on something at the
center of a lot of family life: food. There are stories about vegan
kids, health food for pets, and how parents can deal with picky eaters.
As always, be sure to pick a newsprint copy of the paper for
exclusive articles, cartoons and newsprint smells.
Thanks for reading! If not for you, our high school education would
have been worthless.
