Issue: April 11, 2013

Hi everybody,
Can it be that California and Nevada are going to end their happy
marriage regarding Lake Tahoe and the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency?
This week our feature story writer, Ky Plaskon, takes a look at what may
be irreconcilable differences between the states. Also in this issue, we
can't believe there are new things to say about karaoke in 2013, but here
goes. Do people ever do this without hitting the bar first? Also, our
libertarian and liberal columnists agree that it's time for comprehensive
sex education; Brad Bynum says rock 'n' roll band Kane is able, and
Jessica Santina loves Tommy (even if the story is a little hard to
swallow). As always, feel free to sample the news via the links below,
but don't forget to pick up a newsprint version for exclusive cartoons,
columnists and event picks. And thanks again for reading our newspaper,
if not for you, we'd have to have a trial separation.
Thanks again,
Brian
