This is the funniest sketch show since Monty Python—better than SNL, better than Kids in the Hall. Two completely insane men (Bob Odenkirk and David Cross) managed to assemble some of the nastiest, funniest programs in television history, and if you think I’m exaggerating, you have a chance to prove me wrong. This double disc set brings Bob and David to you in all their obscenely hilarious glory, featuring guest stars like Jack Black, Ben Stiller and David Foley. Skits include the saga of Ronnie Dobbs, the world’s most arrested man (and the subject of the yet to be released film Run, Ronnie, Run) and “The Talking Junkie,” a creepy twist on Mr. Ed. HBO botched things up with this one, killing the show off after four glorious years, while Arliss lives on.
