Fox feted

Lawson Fox, general manager for nearly a quarter century of Reno's KTVN, received the lifetime achievement award of the Nevada Broadcasters Association on Aug. 9.

Broadcasting tends to be a job jumper's field, with its folks moving from market to market around the nation, seldom becoming involved in each community. Fox has been an exception to that pattern. He is a member of Reno South Rotary and has served on the board of Renown Health.
