A Mighty Wind

Rated 4.0 A funny skewering of the folk music world, with writer-director Christopher Guest reassembling his Best in Show and Waiting for Guffman casts for yet another satire party. A folk music guru has died, and three folk acts reunite for a tribute concert in New York City. The film is a hilarious mix of folk tunes, behind the scenes squabbling and witchcraft. Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara steal the show as a folk music duo coming together after many years apart. There musical number together is actually quite good. The best scene in the film is Levy’s offbeat reaction to a train set. Very much worth your time.
