ISIS, Ebola top list of worries this election season.

There’s no one issue dominating the midterm election season in 2014, according to results of a new Politico poll. That said, a majority of Americans believe the U.S. government is “out of control” and worry about its ability to meet demands regarding the economy and national security. Among their fears:

ISIS: 84 percent say ISIS poses a “serious” threat, 43 percent say the threat is “very serious” and 12 percent say it is not a serious concern.

Health care: 57 percent worry their personal health care costs will go up under the Affordable Care Act, 33 percent say they will stay the same and 7 percent think they will go down.

Ebola: 22 percent say they are confident the U.S. government is taking the threat of Ebola seriously and doing everything it can to contain the disease, 39 percent say they had some confidence and 33 percent responded they had little to no confidence.
