Not too late to register … and vote!

‘Same-day’ registration in California available through March 3

If you missed the Feb. 18 deadline, you can still register to vote in the 2020 primary. The catch: You’ll need to visit one of Butte County’s vote centers between now and March 3 to take advantage of “same-day,” or conditional, registration. After registering, you’ll receive a provisional ballot to fill out and turn in.

Butte County vote centers:

Open daily 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (except where noted); and 7 a.m.-8 p.m. on March 3.

Open now:

• Bell Memorial Union, Chico State (weekend hours: Saturday, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.; Sunday, noon-8 p.m.)
