Northern Valley Indian Health clinic in south Chico set to open in 2016

Northern Valley Indian Health recently announced plans for a new full-service clinic in the Meriam Park subdivision in south Chico.

Construction is set to begin this spring, with a grand opening tentatively scheduled for summer 2016, according to an NVIH press release. The clinic will include 41 medical exam rooms and 13 dental exam rooms and be staffed by up to 60 new medical personnel. The existing clinic in north Chico will continue operating at 845 W. East Ave.

NVIH is a private nonprofit tribal corporation. The organization’s clinics in Chico, Willows, Red Bluff and Woodland serve all people of Native American descent, regardless of tribal affiliation. For more information on services offered by NVIH, check out its new website at www.nvih.org.
