A new national poll by Quinnipiac University shows that 58 percent of American voters disapprove of how President Donald Trump is handling immigration (39 percent approve). When asked an open-ended question about how they felt about the practice of separating children from their parents when the families tried to enter the U.S. illegally, the most common responses were: “sad,” “terrible,” “wrong,” “disgusted” and “horrible.” Respondents also weighed in on various traits of the president.
