When a local tattoo parlor told Jayjay co-owner Linda Jolley that a tattoo convention would be coming to town this weekend and would she be interested in showing works by tattoo artists, she passed. But Jolley steered the parlor to Craig Maclaine, co-owner of Toyroom Gallery, who did not pass. The show is up Friday, June 14, through Sunday, June 16, and features the late Eric Hogan from American Graffiti, Troy Agid, Jesse Mitchell, Lee Hager and Isaac Pierro of Bonehead Tattoo, Jerry Grenier of California Tattoo Co., Mike Giant and Mike Davis of Everlasting Tattoo, Bill Henderson and George Hernandez of Folsom City Ink, Eiland Hogan, Brent Patten and Chris Danley of Forever Tattoo, Paco Excel, Adrian Lee, Adam Barton, Phil Holt and Ron Earhart of Newskool Tattoo, and Scott Sylvia and Jason McAfee of Temple Tattoo. Toyroom Gallery is located at 2419 Second Ave.; enter through the alley off 24th Street. Hours are 6:30 p.m. until “late.”
