Those who haven’t had a chance to publicly express their feelings about the war with Iraq will have a couple of opportunities this month.

First, there will be a town hall meeting to discuss the war at Reno City Hall, 490 S. Center St., from 7-10 p.m. on April 7. All opinion holders are encouraged to attend, and equal time will be offered to all points of view. According to Patricia Axelrod, anti-war proponent and organizer of the event, Shayne del Cohen is scheduled to moderate.

Second, Washoe County Commissioner Pete Sferrazza has agreed to place anti-war resolution on the County Commission agenda for April 15. Axelrod, who wrote the resolution, says the Commissioners and the public will discuss the resolution and take a position on Operation Iraqi Freedom.
