Family business This article was published on 02.19.09 Michael Hillerby, left, and his father, Fred Hillerby, check their messages at a lobbyist bench at the Nevada Legislature. Fred began lobbying in Nevada 32 years ago. He was joined by son Mike in 1991. Mike then took a flyer in government, as director of the state Department of Museums, Library, and Arts and then chief of staff to Gov. Kenny Guinn. He then returned to lobbying.
