The new signage may not yet be installed, but the public is still being informed that the Northeast Community Center has been renamed for Evelyn Mount. The name change was made by the Reno City Council on Dec. 3. Mount—for many years with the assistance of her late husband Leon, inset—has operated a private food bank out of her garage.
