Eco-Event: Women in Green Jobs

Women in Green Jobs is a roundtable discussion of sustainability, the emerging green economy and how to increase opportunities for women within it. It’s held Nov. 10 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Lake Mansion, 250 Court St. Participants have been selected from various sectors of the community, such as energy, labor, workforce development, legislative and education. Funded through the U.S. Department of Labor’s Women’s Bureau, Reno was selected as one of the sites in the West and the only site in Nevada, to host the roundtable. Free.
