Bewitched

A washed-up actor (Will Ferrell) stars in a redo of Bewitched, putting the focus on his Darrin rather than Samantha the witch. Nicole Kidman plays Isabel, cast in the Samantha role and progressively pissed about playing second fiddle. The concept works for a while, and you have to credit this production team for trying something different. Unfortunately, the film goes from mildly amusing to absolutely terrible rather quickly, and Kidman and Ferrell unable to save it with their talents. Ferrell has some good moments, but he has not been picking projects that equal his talent as of late. Kidman seems to be doing her best Marilyn Monroe impression. Not very good.
