There are plenty of cafes around Sacramento, but how many offer acrylic bubble chairs from Finland that hang from the ceiling? Just one. is a new cafe that exhorts its clientele to “Live, Love and Lounge.” The owners, Thanom Bodhiprasart, Matt Chong and Aris Ang, have distinguished the place by featuring ultramodern furniture and interior design. In addition to the contemporary aesthetics, Infusion may be the only cafe in town that exclusively serves organically grown, fair-trade coffee. The place also offers excellent panini, desserts from Ettore’s and loose-leaf teas. Soon to come are premium beer, wine and sake. You can show up at 6 a.m. and stay until very late on any day but Sunday (when Infusion is open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.). Cultural offerings include local artwork, a DJ and poetry readings. Get over there and live, love and lounge, bubble-style. 1628 K Street, (916) 442-8889.
