Dude! Um, it’s Rocktober!

Apparently there’s no show on Twofer Tuesday at our favorite Orangevale “rawk” mecca, the Boardwalk. But, with this Saturday’s Rocktober 5 lineup, you get five bands, which is three more than a twofer but six short of 11. The occasion is the latest 98Rock CD-compilation release party, which features the Beat Officers, Luxt, the Council, MDSO and Scribble. The show starts at 9 p.m., it only costs you $7 to get in, and $3 more will get you a copy of the CD. Oh, and it’s an all-ages show. The Boardwalk is located at 9426 Greenback Lane in, um, Orangevale.
