The Fox News television network has thrown a spotlight on the plight of Renoites oppressed by the verbiage of tolerance.

A Reno icon appears on the network's “War on Christmas” map, though the Fox cartographer seems to have placed Reno near about Vya. By clicking on the icon, the reader can view a KOLO report by Joe Harrington about the official city holiday tree downtown. The tree has been known by the term holiday tree for several years, but local journalists just took notice this year, and Fox picked up on the threat posed by rampant secularism in the city.

“Once again this holiday season, the right to celebrate Christmas is under attack,” reads an intro to the map.
