Rabbit-Proof Fence

Rated 4.0 A very well done film about three young girls who trek across Australia using a rabbit-proof fence as their guide. Until the ’70s, Australia had a strange law in which Aboriginal children declared as “half whites” were essentially kidnapped from their homes, placed in labor camps and trained for domestic service. Director Phillip Noyce creates a hypnotic film, with the help of a nice, pulsating soundtrack from Peter Gabriel.
