Maid In Manhattan

Better than your average J-Lo movie. Jennifer Lopez stars as a hotel maid who, as the result of an identity mix up, winds up dating an affluent guest and Senatorial candidate (Ralph Fiennes). The story is woefully routine, but handled superbly by Lopez and Fiennes, who are charming as all hell. Director Wayne Wang has a gift for creating “comfortable” movies. Not a great film by any means, but it is a good romantic comedy, something that is hard to come by nowadays.
