Daredevil

While Ben Affleck manages to overcome a rather goofy leather superhero costume, his decent performance can’t save this film from feeling like nothing special. He plays blind lawyer Matt Murdock, who dons hip-hugging leather by night to become Daredevil, a superhero with rather mixed up priorities who fails to engage on many levels. His arch nemesis, Kingpin (Michael Clarke Duncan), is one of the more boring super villains you will come across. On the plus side, Jennifer Garner makes a great Elektra. Fans of the comic books will be happy about her capable acting skills. Not a bad film, but somewhat less than good.
