Bowling For Columbine

Documentarian Michael Moore takes a look at America’s love affair with guns in this brutally funny, sometimes scary, film. While the targets of Moore’s documentary aren’t always clear, his photo-journalistic, Jackass-style stunts are a kick. Moore is an ambush interviewer, and in moments like his cornering of Dick Clark and Charlton Heston, he achieves nothing other than making celebrities look stupid. Still, it’s pretty funny to watch, and the movie does provide much fodder for conversation.
