Welcome to this week's edition of Reno News & Review. This week, we've got our annual Bars & Clubs Guide. I know I say this about a lot of guides, but this is one of my favorites. And in a drinking town like Reno, why wouldn't it be?

The local bar scene is vibrant these days, from downtown to midtown and pretty much all across the valley. Really, regardless of what you're looking for, there's a bar to fit your needs. But what are you looking for? That's the question at the heart of this year's Bars & Clubs Guide. What do we want out of our bar experiences? I hope you'll enjoy the stories.

This week's feature story is from Dennis Myers. In it, he takes a look at the future renters face in the Truckee Meadows. Over in the arts section, you'll find stories from editor Brad Bynum and arts editor Kris Vagner. Brad spoke with Dan Ruby about his new collection of original music, titled 33-45. And Kris caught up with artist Rossitza Todorova, who distills time and loss into 3-D form in a solo show at TMCC.

Of course, we've got our regular columns from Sheila Leslie, Brendan Trainor and Bruce Van Dyke, and don't forget to grab a physical copy of the paper from your favorite bar or coffee house. Our designers do an incredible job of making the print edition look great, and it always contains cartoons and columns you won't find online.
