Issue: September 06, 2012

Hi, Folks.
This week in the Reno News & Review, we'll have a long look at U.S.
Sen. Harry Reid's handling of the issue of Mitt Romney's taxes last
month-- a topic to which Reid returned last night at the Democratic
National Convention.
Ashley Hennefer will introduce you to Tahoe Expo, Brian Burghart will
review Grind-- a collection of short stories by Reno author Mark
Maynard-- and Brad Bynum will give a listen to Precariously Stacked,
a local band that likes doing covers. In News, we'll have a report
on a federal law that most Nevadans have never heard of but which has
had huge impact on the Great Basin-- the Pittman-Robertson Act, which
marks its 75th anniversary this week. And Ben Garrido writes about
his late night cemetery exploration.
Thanks for reading us. We'd rather write for you than disclose our
tax returns.
Take care,
Dennis Myers
