Issue: August 30, 2012
Hi everybody!
I'm back from vacation, so you know the first thought on my mind was how
to unplug from the constant barrage of digital nonsense. And thus, this
week's cover story. Read it, and you'll get what I'm talking about. Also
in this week's issue, news editor Dennis Myers weighs in on an advisory
question for the local November ballot--huh, should people actually vote
for the people who claim to represent them?--arts editor Brad Bynum
reviews a couple of local albums and a local band, and Ashley Hennefer
looks at a bike race with a local food connection. Feel free to click the
links below, but please don't forget to pick up a newsprint version of
our newspaper for exclusive content and muted colors. And as always,
thanks for picking up your favorite alt-weekly. If not for you, we'd have
no reason to plug in.
Thanks,
Brian
