Issue: March 15, 2012

Hi, folks,
Will we do it again? That’s the question we ask in our cover story
this week about the Iraq war. When Vietnam ended, no one could have
imagined our going into another such tar pit, but it happened. We
asked authors, activists and veterans of both war and antiwar: Will
we do it again?
Elsewhere, Bob Grimm reviews Silent House, Brad Bynum introduces the
duo Blunderbusst, and Dave Preston reviews La Parada. Brad also
looks at the master of fine arts program at the University of Nevada,
Reno. In Green, Ashley Hennefer also turns her attention to UNR and
its High Desert Farming Initiative.
You can read these things online, but remember there are features in
the print edition that do not appear on our website.
Thanks for reading our newspaper.
