Issue: September 15, 2011
Hi, folks,
It's that issue when you provide some of the content, our 95-word short fiction contest. Check us out to find the winners. In Green, Ashley Hennefer gives us a look at a group that gleans fruit to extend food stores for the poor. Bob Grimm's fall movie preview is in this issue. So is a look at new local CDs and a profile of artist Brian Christiansen, both by Brad Bynum. In news, you'll get a look at the federal Transportation Security Administration's efforts to extend its activities into all forms of transportation, including the local Truckee Meadows municipal bus line.
You can read these things online, but remember there are features in the print edition that do not appear on our website.
Thanks for reading our newspaper! If it weren't for you, even 95 words would be wasted.
