Issue: May 12, 2011

Hi everybody.
This week on the cover of the Reno News & Review, Dennis Myers looks at lobbyists who are former legislators and legislators who were former lobbyists, and the apparently questionable ethics of the practice. I say
"apparent" because, particularly with term limits, it's not all that black and white. Dennis also takes a look at the shocking ouster of Joni Kaiser from the Committee to Aid Abused Women; it's a great story that was somehow kept under wraps for months. Lots of other great stuff in the issue this week, including the return of our feature In Rotation, as I'm taking a hiatus from Filet of Soul. Feel free to click the links below, but don't forget to pick up a newsprint copy of our newspaper for exclusive cartoons, columns, and the ever-popular Streetalk. Thanks again for reading us. If it weren't for you, we'd have to ... well, we probably wouldn't become lobbyists.
