Issue: July 29, 2010

Hi everybody!
This week on our cover, we’ve got a really optimistic story by Dennis Myers about how our elected officials are reacting to the faltering—and inevitable end—of the gaming economy. Also in this week’s favorite alternative, we’ve got people brewing and drinking beer, lawmakers freaking out over the lack of advice on how to rebuild the state’s tax structure, and a belly dancer who really knows how to shake things up. Maybe she should run for office. As always, thanks for reading the Reno News & Review. If not for you, our attitudes might turn for the worse.
Thanks, again,
Brian
