Issue: March 18, 2010

Hi everybody,
How well do you remember March 2003? That’s when the Iraq war began. It’s been seven years, and the mission still hasn’t been accomplished. In addition to the cost in human lives, the war has cost the American people upwards of $700 billion and counting. In this week’s issue, RN&R news editor Dennis Myers asked several local figures how they think that money could’ve been spent if we hadn’t gone to war in Iraq. Elsewhere in this issue, Bob Grimm reviews a new movie, starring Matt Damon, about the beginning of the war, and columnist Bruce Van Dyke recounts his recent trip to one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.
Thanks for reading the RN&R! If it weren’t for you, we’d forget how to type.
Brad Bynum,
RN&R Arts Editor
