Issue: January 28, 2010

Hi everybody,
Ever feel like getting the heck out of town? Ever gone abroad, and then felt like a stranger when you came back home? That’s what happened to our writer Ben Garrido after he spent a year teaching English to children in South Korea. In this week’s feature story, he shares some comical tales from his international adventure and explores his feelings of alienation upon returning home. Also in this week’s issue, Dennis Myers examines Nevada’s complex relationship with an even stranger land: California. And theater critic Mark Dunagan travels to some dark places of the soul while watching Brüka Theatre’s latest production, Bug.
As always, thanks for reading the RN&R!
If it weren’t for you, we’d never go anywhere.
