Issue: September 03, 2009
Hey everybody,
Man-oh-man, what a week! We’ve blood- and history-thirsty warmongers on the cover, blood- and fantasy-thirsty warmongers in Arts&Culture, and a battle against hunger in Foodfinds. We have more crossed T’s and dotted I’s than you can shake a stick at. We’ve got your friends vying for the top honors in the Biggest Little Best of Northern Nevada readers’ poll, http://www.newsreview.com/reno/ballot/bestofreno09, and the area’s songwriters fighting it out in our first ever Songwriters Contest, http://www.newsreview.com/reno/ballot/renosongwriting09. If someone tries to prevent you from picking up this week’s Reno News & Review, well, feel free to tell them we said you’d rather fight than switch! As always, thanks for reading the paper. If it weren’t for you, we’d be pounding the pavement for sure.
Thanks again,
Brian
