Issue: May 28, 2009

Hey everybody,It’s newsletter day! And not only that, it’s the newsletter to announce Summer Guide 2009! This year, with the recognition that everybody seems to be broke, we decided to focus on free things with which to occupy ourselves this summer. That’s our own arts editor, Brad Bynum, running around as the Free Bird or free-range chicken or some danged thing. Also of note in this issue, we have our new columnists, Jen Hartley writing in East of Eden, and John Barrette writing in Reviled and Revered. Maybe you’ll be able to guess who is the liberal and who is the conservative. At any rate, have a great week and a great summer!Bri
