Nevada NORML office implodes

The Nevada office of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) in Las Vegas has shut down as a result of internal divisions in the group.

The action came after Nevada NORML chair Beth Soloe and her husband were expelled by other members. Soloe is now planning a Las Vegas Cannabis Club.

“It’s disappointing that the NORML chapter has dissolved, but we hope someone else picks it up,” Dave Schwartz, Nevada spokesperson for the Marijuana Policy Project, told Las Vegas CityLife. “We’re always looking to work with others to reform the laws.”
