Weapons

They’re here
A Quaker group has posted an online map showing where the long-elusive weapons of mass destruction are located. Some can be found in Nevada.

The Friends Committee on National Legislation page is headlined, “We found the weapons of mass destruction"—a sardonic quote from George W. Bush’s May 29, 2003, claim in a Polish television interview that the weapons had been found.

On the Friends’ Web page, readers can move their cursors over the U.S. map, and lists of weapons of mass destruction will appear. The Nevada list includes 175 B61-7 gravity bombs, 600 B61-3 gravity bombs, and 575 W80-1 cruise missiles, all located at Nellis Air Force Base in southern Nevada. In the West, only Idaho and Arizona are free of WMD.
