Virginia Lake changes planned
Water in Virginia Lake will be reduced for several months while the east bank is reinforced against erosion, the overflow outlet is reconstructed and a fountain is repaired.
The lake was created as a New Deal project in 1938. It was designed for swimming and wading with an average depth of five and a half feet.
