A worker does repairs on the former Woolworth Building at First and Virginia streets in downtown Reno. This is the second of two buildings on this parcel that housed F.W. Woolworth chain “dime stores.” The chain folded in 1997 and is now known as Foot Locker Inc, a sporting goods concern. The Reno structure was purchased in 2013 by Jamy Keshmiri, who said he hopes to install a grocery store in it.
