Many of us were shocked when we saw the photo: A tourist wearing a coat and carrying a backpack stands atop the Word Trade Center, oblivious to the fact that a Boeing jet is bearing down on the building. We know now that this photo was not recovered from a camera found in the wreckage of the Twin Towers, and the graphics-savvy Internet community has responded with a flurry of satirical takes on the hoax. You’ve got Tourist Guy standing in front of the crash of the Hindenburg, cruising along in the convertible with JFK in Dallas and chillin’ on the deck of the Titanic.
