Members of the congregation at Second Baptist Church sang at a special prayer vigil last week for victims of the Sparks Middle School shooting incident. It was held by the African American Clergy Council of Northern Nevada. Pastor Michael Randle told the gathering that one outcome of the incident has been that some residents have felt a stronger sense of community: “We can say to one another that we are all here for each other.”
