Thousand man walk
It looked like a scene in a science fiction movie. In long lines on both sides of Center and Virginia streets stretching through downtown Reno, thousands of men all dressed the same (dark suits, white shirts, red ties) walked up to Lawlor Events Center for an Equipo Vision conference. There were more than 10,000 of them. The event, lasting from 4 p.m. to midnight, was closed to the public. Equipo Vision is a motivational organization that deals with Latino family, financial and spiritual matters.
