Stage pick of the week

Riverfront Theatre will present the 1950s nostalgic musical hit by Stuart Ross, Forever Plaid. The play is about four young crooners whose dreams of making it big come true after they are killed in a bus accident and strangely find themselves back on earth. Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 30-31; Sept. 6-7, 13-14, 20-21; 7 p.m. Sept. 27-28 and 2 p.m. Sept. 1, 8, 15, 22. Tickets cost $20 at the door, $17 advance and $15 advance for students. Performed at Club Cal-Neva Virginian, 133 N. Virginia St., except for Sept. 27-28 shows, performed at Bartley Ranch Amphitheater, 6000 Bartley Ranch Road. Call 323-7469.
