Stage pick of the week

The Actory Theatre Arts Centre opens its season with Stephen Sondheim’s murder-mystery Getting Away With Murder. The play will run in repertory with William Shakespeare’s classic tragedy Julius Caesar. Getting Away with Murder begins at 8 p.m. Oct. 5-6, 12-13 and 25-26, and at 2 p.m. Oct. 13. Julius Caesar begins at 8 p.m. Oct. 19-20 and 27 and Nov. 8-10, and at 2 p.m. Oct. 27. Tickets for both plays are $13. The Actory is at 610 S. Rock Blvd. in Sparks. Call 331-9228.
