Sound of silence
This weekend, Cinemareno revisits the silent era of movies with the 1920s films Show People and Adam and Eva (both starring Marion Davies, pictured), and a 1926 Felix the Cat cartoon, Felix in Hollywood. Art Johnson will provide musical accompaniment with Trinity Episcopal Church’s pipe organ, which is one of the largest pipe organs in Nevada. The event begins 7 p.m. Jan. 21 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 200 Island Ave. Tickets are $5-$10. Visit www.cinemareno.org for details.
