Score 100 for the team
Biannually since 2001, the Nevada Conservation League has produced the Conservation Scorecard, which evaluates state legislators based upon their votes on key conservation issues during the legislative session.
While the full report can be found at www.nvgreenvote.org/images/stories/2009_Conservation_Scorecard_state_leg.pdf, the short version of the story is that the environment did better than expected with the worst economy since the Great Depression bedeviling lawmakers. Several assembly members received scores of 100 percent pro-environment. No senator reached 100 percent, but seven reached the high score of 95 percent.
