Nude photos of teen singing sensation Broccoli Spears? It’s not exactly high humor, but it’s actually one of the better gags at SatireWeekly.com. I happened on the site by looking through reviews of Dave Eggers’ megalomaniacal memoir, A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius. The review at SatireWeekly.com has the same Eggersish tone and includes tips for enjoying the book like “cancel all your appointments” and “read every word.” The review is the best thing on the site, and that includes the links to BushBeer.net ("They sure know how to put the party in Grand Old Party") and something called “Nude” ("A look at the state of being nude, but only the good parts"). It looks like these guys were aiming for TheOnion.com, but instead ended up with Gilligan’s Island: The Lost Episode (in which hungry castaways cannibalize the well-dressed Howells).
