Ric Flair and the Four Horsemen
WWE Home Video
A strong and intelligent villain is necessary to challenge a hero and elevate his game. The villains of the 1980s were not radioactive monsters or evil scientists, but successful business men. In professional wrestling, The Four Horsemen personified these “limousine riding, jet flying, kiss stealing, wheeling dealing, sons of guns.” With new interviews and archived wrestling footage, this DVD chronicles the battles of Ric Flair, Tully Blanchard, and Ole and Arn Anderson inside and outside of the squared circle. Compared to most wrestling collections, there aren’t a lot of matches in this set, but the ones that are included are top notch. Just watch the Eight-Man Tag Team match at the 1988 War Games to understand why the Horsemen were some of the greatest wrestlers we loved to hate.
