Republicans gather
At a Republican rally in Reno, Nevadans listened to speakers including former Alaska governor Sarah Palin. The event was sponsored by Tea Party Express, a Republican political committee based in Sacramento that promotes Palin’s political career. A block away, Democrats held a later competing rally to get their own message out. Former Nevada attorney general Frankie Sue Del Papa spoke.
