Rebate special
NV Energy is offering a special rebate deal during July and August: Residents who recycle a refrigerator through its program will receive $50 back. That’s compared to $30, the amount the rebate will return to in September. The utility will also pick up a second fridge or freezer for free and recycle 95 percent of it. The units must be in working order. To schedule a pick-up, visit nvenergy.com/refrigerator.
